I’ve had my G22 about a couple of years and probably have about 1500 rds through it and I’ve loved shooting it from day one. I remembered reading (2003) about the new .45 GAP round Glock came out with and thought it was pretty interesting how they were able to match the ballistics of the venerable .45 ACP. So this past January I picked up a G37 and of course loved it right away as well. I noticed I started picking up the G37 first and shooting longer with it then I was with the G22 and finally had to be honest with myself…I was enjoying the G37 even more then the G22!
The other interesting thing, of the last 4 guests I took to the range, 3 of them preferred the G37 over the G22. The extra weight of the G37 seemed to be the deciding factor of their preference over the G22 for them.
Has anyone else had similar findings with these two fine pistols??
