3 point sling?

Anybody use a 3 point sling on their rifle? I really prefer the combat style of carry, but I'm not sure how a sling could be mounted to the side of a rem 700. Any ideas?

Well, it's not exactly what you might be looking for, but you could do an MDT LSS chassis and an AR stock so you can attach the rear loop of the sling onto the side of the buttstock.

You could install flush cups on the side of your stock.

i would be very intersted to see how you carry a slingshot (combat style)

Flush cups! Thats a fantastic idea. My only concern would be how thin my sps varmint stock would be. Ajy thoughts there?

just drill it as it will be over the pack . I made one with two snaps as to the pack

Yeah, the stock is hollow which poses a bit of a problem. The areas where the flush cups are would need to be reinforced with epoxy.

How are you thinking a guy would reinforce it using epoxy?

Take the recoil pad off, Fit a piece of wood into the butt across from where you want the flush cup. Scuff up the plastic and epoxy the wood into the stock, let dry. Drill 1/2" hole into the wood block, screw and epoxy the flush cup into the hole and repeat on the forend. If you need a hand PM me and after newyear's and I'll help you out.
