I've been looking for a 3 position bolt safety for my cz 527, and I haven't found one yet. Spent a bunch of time on the google, and nada... Anyone know where it is possible to obtain one?? Or if one is made??

There was a guy in Montana that converted CZ 527's into a wildcat 19 cal and did bolt handle mods and added a 3 position safety to the 527 among other things.
I was looking into one a few years ago, then lost interest and recently acquired a CZ 527 in 204. I'll keep my eyes on this thread, while the backwards safety of the 527 is annoying, I can live with it as a varmint gun.
I'm not sure if they're available as a part item or only with his complete rifle, but give it a try.

Thanks for the info. I'll write or call him and ask... Worst that he can do is tell me to go fu@& myself...
Made a call to James today, and he said that I was mistaken, but he was going to look into possibly making one. He said that current safety does cam the firing pin back, it just doesn't allow the bolt to open.
