I would like to have a new trigger and a three position safety installed on my Remington model 700 . Who would do this in canada?Anyone had it done out there ?

I purchased an Ultra Lite 3 position safety from Brownell's and installed it in my 700 trigger. I like it.
Patented two-position, three funciton safety allows the bolt to be lifted while the rifle is in the "SAFE" or "NO FIRE" position. Please use caution and follow standard safety procedures even with the safety lever in the "SAFE" or "NO FIRE" position.

Does the ultra light allow the bolt to be locked? Did you install yourself?

My 300 rum has filled more freezers than safeway!It makes exit wounds on every big game animal in North America ! And I can send three Noslers into the same hole all day! I love this rifle so please only reply if you have an answer to my question

I bought one of the UltraLight safeties mentioned earlier. Tried to get a local 'smith to install it. He couldn't do it and gave it back to me with a part missing (the little ball bearing). Seemed to be well made though. There is a company that makes a Win 70 style safety for other rifles, forget the company name though. The used to advertise in the back of Rifle magazine all the time, hopefully that helps. - dan

Midway USA has a video on how to install the gentry custom 3 way ! There is some basic milling needs doing . I phoned gentry and they are backed up over a year wait for installation! Does anyone recommend a good gunsmith machinist ?
