3 prohibited rifles that just cleared RCMP

The top one looks like an OGT import.

It has the custom made furniture.
Yup. I commented with some additional AR10 photos in the Battle Rifles forum. As an aside, ALL North American AR10s and USA Parts Kits were Peter Wilke/Ontario Gun and Tackle imports from SIDEM in the UK. SIDEM and Wilke also did the 8L-series FN C1A1 ex-OPP ERT re-import to Canada. A few of my CA's came from Wilke, including my C1 SMG, my FN Uzi, and my Sterling Mk9 to name a few.

Nice looking rifles, 36Hamon!

Actually, most where underwhelming. He would take everything apart (good and bad) and reassemble everything into medeoker units.

I can't recall because it was a long time ago, but the had the furniture made because the original fiberglass stuff was either missing or trashed.

They came from the Sudan I believe, don't quote me because 1988 was a long time ago.

Makes perfect sense that these can still be owned but things like the AG42 are prohib and cannot

Don't shoot the messenger. Instead, celebrate with 36Hamon in FINALLY receiving his long-awaited property! Nobody ever claimed that Canadian Firearms laws make any sense. To whit, the Grandfathered owners of such prohibs cannot legally transport them for discharge on a certified range.... go figure!

Well they know where they are they are already grandfathered ,they don't have to pay any money to confiscate because they will one day be destroyed, dewatted or given to a museum to them it's a win with no cost ...having said all that they can change their mind anytime and again they know where they are .
