3 Rifles and cartridges to hunt all of North American big game

I have also given this some thought. Lots of possibilities, my choices would be:

.223 Rem - Chucks to Yotes
.308 Win - Most Large Game
.375 Ruger - Bison, Grizzly -(right, then I woke up)

All Stainless customs (700 actions) in McMillians or some other ultra high quality stock.

In the real world I have:

.17 HMR - Savage w/Varmint Barrel - Cheap gun but a tack driver
.308 in a Browning BAR - Just cause auto's piss off Liberals - surprisingly accurate
.300 Roy in a Mark V - my baby

Since the question is rifles and cartridges to hunt big game, I'd choose these:

A 7x57 in a No.1 RSI as a handy, short rifle.

A .300 H&H on a magnum mauser action, with a 25" barrel for open country and big stuff.

A .250-3000 Model 7 built really light for teaching my kids and for when we hunt together.

.257 Roy Mag Accumark with a 4.5-14X40 VXIII for the plains game.
.300 Win Mag M700 custom job (light as practically possible) 3.5-10X40 VXIII for everything from Caribou to Sheep, to Mooseseses.
.375 Ruger M70 style CRF custom job. 22" barrel, 1.5-5 VXIII with backup iron sights.

I'm only a young'un so I've only been on the scene for 5 years now so dont take any of this seriously, but I think that outta kill most of the #### on this globe. Well maybe not a few members of Africas big 5...so...just dont hunt those...ok?

45/70 for everything including savage rabbits out to 250 yards 9.3x62 if they are a little farther away if more than 400 walk [stalk] up closer and use my 458 wm with 500 grainers, and get off two quick shots.

Out of my current guns, 7STW, 338 Win. and 375 H&H. Although the Rigby or 460 WBY could go for the big stuff. The first three are weatherproof.

Mine would be my Sako m75ss 243 with 55gr BST for coyotes and 95gr BST for wolves and deer(prefer an Accubond for the deer if Nolser comes out with it for the 6mm calibers), Tikka T3 LS 270WSM with 140gr Accubonds and my Sako m75ss 300WM with 180gr Accubonds. I may be hard pressed to choose once I shoot and develope a load for my Sako m75 Greywolf 338-06 Ackley Improved with 225gr Accubonds or TTSX's.

I'm really impressed with the performance of the 270WSM with 140gr AB's on big game as a few years ago I was a one rifle/caliber guy---300WM.

Mine are
222 or 22-250 for varmints
308 norma for everything else
12gauge slug for were I can't use centerfire rifle

.22lr, .204, .270 These are the three I own. I have not lost a moose, elk or anything else with the 270, but I don't hunt bear. If I could do it all over again I might swap the 270 for a 270wsm, 7mag, 30-06 or 7-08.
