3 rifles need a decent cost scope for them

I haven't heard of redfield, I'm ashamed, bit the Nikon I've used twice liked but the cost haha
Thanks man, I'll look I to it

Redfield was bought by Leupold and for all extensive purposes it's a slightly cheaper version of a VX-1 for 40 bucks less or so. It's like buying a used Leupold, but getting it new. With all the warranty.

A used Leupold is a good thing though. Lifetime warranty means they fix it no matter what if it's broke.

Well there is a little caveat there....Korth is the Canadian distributor and warranty center for Leupold, but they will only service scopes THEY imported themselves. They will check the s/n to verify if it's one of theirs. If not, you are pretty much SOL. Doesn't mean it even has to be bought in the US for them to deny warranty, Bass Pro and Cabela's I think as well are big enough they do their own importing of Leupy scopes but Korth will tell you to get bent.

Hizty, this isn't entirely true.
There is a time line on what they will or will not accept.
The old Leupolds they warranty.
Not sure where the time frame breaks.

If I remember right.its Nov 2010. If you're buying a used scope Korth will verify serial number for you.

I suppose I'd care more if I had effected scopes, or had ever used Leupold warranty on a scope.
