3 rifles-- need input

Sako and Tikka are the same people, and i have had to deal with them on a Tikka before. I had a 595 in 17 Rem that blew a primer and the resulting gas came out the rear, and blew the plastic shroud off the back of the gun. I knew it was my fault, but I needed a new shroud so i phoned the people at Stoeger Canada and explained what happened. The guy on the phone gave me some tips for loading with the finnicky 17 Rem, then had me give him my address. A week later a new shroud was in my mailbox, free of charge!

That to me is a great way to deal with customers.

I tried and sold the Remington 700. It is a beautiful rifle in terms of craftsmanship, but something just didn't feel right about it. The 2 riflesI had in the past that shot straightand fit like a glove were Savage and Ruger. Rather than listen to my friend's opinion on rifle brands which are priced rather steep, I am going to stick with what feels right to me. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a Sako or a Kimber, but I cannot afford to buy and try these expensive brands when a $700 Hawkeye feels good to me. Just my 2 bits..

I am hearing more and more that sako aren't as bad at customer service, as some of the possible bias info I have read. "" No i didn't say B.S info, I said bias info""
Kimber,, I know even less than some of the others.... anyone care to give me some knowledge on them.
Thompson Center is OUT, I am sure it is a good product but after 3 emails asking a couple of simple questions, which I know they read, because I got the read receipts, they couldn't bother to answer me, so I can't bother to spend my money with them.
The questions were about the actual weight, because it is listed different, in 2 areas within their site, and if they sell the aluminum bedding block version of the Hogue stock.

My heavy old Ruger shoots well, I just "WANT" a good lighter rig so that this old man can walk around all day, and just because it's my turn. The kids can buy their own skates now. I need,,,, I am sorry I mean, "I WANT", new boots too, along with a few other goodies.
