hey all,

I have the following rifles and scopes and are wondering everyones opinions on wich scope you would mount on each rifle.

Scopes:
2-7x33 vortex crossfire
3-9x40 bushnell trophy
3-9x42 zeis terra
also, probably picking up a leupold vx11 in 3-9x50 this weekend

Rifles:
Zastava m70 243
Voere 7x57 (needs a scope with small ocular lens to clear bolt handle... not sure if any of my current options will work)
Husky 8x57
zastava 17hmr
and a stoeger pellet rifle

any insight would be appreciated.
my thoughts are leupold on the voere because the large objective and bolt clearance require high rings)
bushnell on the 8x57
zeis on the 243 zastava
and the cossfire on the hmr or pellet rifle

let me know if you think im wrong and why. Thanks!

That 8x57 is going to have the most recoil on the bunch of scopes you have there,
so maybe the Zeiss for it?
The Leupold for skinny might be your best bet on the Voere as they do have a smaller
ocular lense/body.
And I agree with the air rifle needing it's own style scope.

wow i cant believe i didnt know that about air rifles/scopes. anyone care to elaborate? it doesnt seem to make sense, at least on the surface, that a scope designed for heavy recoil would be damaged by a whimpy pellet gun... is it the "reverb" that they have that causes damage?
