I have a mix of RCBS, Lyman and Lee dies. I use an RCBS rockchucker press.

If I got a lee classic turret press for pistol, can I use my non Lee 3 die sets in it or would I have to get the Lee dies? In other words, would they work with the powder measure on the turret?

thanks for any advice

Any dies will work for you, how many stations does the Turret offer? That is your only limitation... You may need to upgrade to a four-hole turret in order to fit everything, but you can mix and match brands of dies, no problem.

A Lee Classic Turret uses a 4-hole turret. Lee pistol die sets, whether 3 or 4 dies, include a powder-through die that mounts on the turret and this p-t die comes with a mandrel that expands the case mouth to accept your bullet.

So the question is, do you already have a powder measure/mouth expander for your caliber? If so, you can use Non-Lee dies. If not, buy the Lee die-sets.

Lyman and RCBS dies will not work with the Lee powder measure. You will have to get 4-hole turrets (I think these are standard now, anyway), and set up the expander on station 2 and a universal charge die with the powder measure on station 3.
