3 Winchester pre 64 values with pic's

No idea on value.

if the tape come off and leaves a residue, one way i have found to get it off is peanut butter. Rub it on and let it sit for a few days. the oil plus fine abrasive seems to get gunk off cleanly.

If I was to attempt to take that duckie tape off, I'd soak the chit out of it with G-96 before
lightly hitting them with any sort of heat.
Try and saturate the glue.
And for sure wipe to the butt stock side of the wood.

Where did you ever come up with peanut butter? I am not disagreeing that it would work good, but I would have ever thought to try that. Would you use regular or chunky? :)

Peanut butter works great for getting gum out of a childs hair!

WD40 works great on the residue left behind from duct tape.
WD40 also works great on getting PL adhesives off anything before it dries.

The 71 appears to have had finger grooves cut into the forearm... might be the light, but I don't think so. It also looks to be refinished to my eye.

I thought that was just the lighting, but after another look, you may just be right! It sure does look like finger grooves. I guess the OP could confirm that.

The 71 has defginetly been reblued , not restocked 94 $400 shooter maybe a bit more the 95 $600-$00 only because of it being a takedown the 71 bring reblued $900-$1,400 shooter
