Good day all!
I just got my hands on a box of NP 150 gr and the plan was to create a load for one of my 30-06 for my wife and daughter to use without too much recoil but enough energy for caribou and sheep to about 150m and in the future increase the load slowly so they get use to more and more recoil and be able to eventually use the same rifle with enough bullet weigh and energy for moose!!
Anyway long story snort I have these powders, RL-19, IMR4064, IMR4166 and H4895. From what I can see in my Lee reloading manual, the mildest load is with RL-19 with a starting load of 54.6gr at 2427fps up to a max of 62gr at 2722fps.... now to figure out recoil according to those numbers...
What else do I need to take in consideration?
