.30-06, 168 tsx, h4350

Just got back from shooting some 57-58gr loads, got up to 2850 no problem.

Shooting consistent, might play with the seating depth a bit, but it should do OK on a moose...:D

That exact load dumped these critters

The kudu took a few shots, placement wasn't ideal

Each of those animals would have been over 500 pounds with the zebra stallion being closer to 700. Brendan has never shot a moose, but it should work perfectly.

The load is 58 grs of H4350, 168 gr TSX, fed 210m primer and WW brass.
 
Load data from my manual for 165 grain spitzers 4350 powder

start load 55gr-2708 fps
mid load 57gr- 2822 fps
MAX LOAD 59GR 2913 FPS

Always start low and work up for your rifle.
