How reliable it is?
Did anybody have any problems with 30-06 Sprg BAR
or does anybody know anybody who had any problems?
If yes please give short description.

My dad had one but he sold it because it jammed on every follow up shot.

Probably wouldn't have had it been maintained properly. Which, except in the case of Remingtons, is one of the keys to reliability. Had a .270 BAR and it never jammed, dad had a 7m RM it never jammed and buddy had a .30-06 for over 25 years and it never jammed. Go figure.

I had one and lost a bull moose due to Winchester SilverTips causing a misfeed/stovepiping.
IVI, Remington and Federal fed fine, but the rifle would not feed SilverTips reliably.
I think the action on mine just prefered pointed bullets.
Accuracy was OK for hunting up to 100 yds, but I didn't like the performance at longer ranges, hence, I switched to bolt actions.

I used to have a 30-06 BAR back about 18 years ago and it worked fine when i first bought it but later started to jam up on the second shot.I sold it and bought a bolt and sometime later found out that the internal inertia piece had broken (the part the action bars hook to).The new owner installed a new part and she still works fine today.

Another couple of things to watch for are the timing latch and pin as well as the bolt carrier. The BC particularly on the magnums.

I have a Belgiam Bar in 300WM,after a thorough cleaning it has performed flawlessly.Even on a late december Elk hunt.Got to empty her once at minus 23 no problem.
On one occasion a bud of mine had same problem as described earlier in this forum Re/06.Turned out to be a twig the size of a toothpick jammed on top of the receiver.Yoink, good as new...

I have only owned one bar, that being a 7mmremmag.It performed flawlessly at the range but jammed once in cold, wet conditions despite proper maintenance. The fellow that bought it shortly afterward experienced a jam in similar conditions on a late season moose hunt.

BAR

I've owned once and BAR and have regretted ever selling it. Lovely rifle. I always maintained it an it never gave me any problems. Was a 308.
FYI Im currently using a Remington 7400 in 270 winchester to hunt. These rifles have a bad rep but mine hasnt jammed once. I've shot about 150 rounds so far and taken 1 buck just yesterday. Nice piece of kit for the bucks. Like all semis, just maintain it.
