30-06 Complement ? 9.3x62@Post 67

I owned an M70 Super Grade in .30/06 at the same time that I owned an M70 Super Grade in .257 Roberts... both with incredible wood... as pretty and well mated a pair of rifles as you could find, but... turns out I eat with the field hands and enter through the side door (almost said "back" door... that was close!)... so off they went and I sloughed back to my workman M77's.

Recently bought a CZ 9.3x62 and I love it. Very accurate, seems to like all my reloads, and easy to shoot.

I have both a 6.5x55 (Howa) and a 30-06 (Norwegian Mauser). For me, the perfect compliment would be a rifle in the 222/223 calibre range.

Congratulations Megaclocker, the 9.3X62 is an excellent cartridge, and the ole Husky is an excellent rifle. Now, start saving for a .22-06 custom rifle, with a 1:6.5 twist barrel (for 90 gr VLDs) and you'll have the bases covered.
