Where would a person go nowadays to get some good milsurp brass for a garand? Working on a project and want to get my ducks in a row:D.

You don't need milsurp for a garand, any 30-06 will do. If anything you want harder primers. Make sure you trim it to the correct length, that's important.

I recently got some Lake City brass on the EE. Civilian brass works just fine. Make sure those primers are seated to flush or just below. You don't need milspec primers but some people feel Federal should be avoided. Winchester, CCI, work just fine. Primer pocket uniformer can be handy.

I beleive you are correct in wanting Millitary Brass as it is usually stonger in the head area. As stated about you can use comm. brass but in my experience the millitary is better. Also I would not use Federal primers and also make sure the primers are seated just below level so as to avoid the chance of a slam fire.
