Is there any non corrosive 30-06 military ammo available in Canada ?
A friend just bought a Garand and wants some milsurp ammo to use in it.
Thanks in advance

Even when available, most surplus was corrosive. The US didn't change over to non-corrosive priming in 30-06 until some time after WWII.

In the states, you can get milsurp '06 for about 40 cents a round from CMP, but I'm pretty sure you Cannucks can't get it. There is Korean ammo out there, that is pretty decent. One is headstamped PS, and it is non corrosive, the other is headstamped KS, and it is corrosive. Either one is decent ammo, maybe not as good as USGI, but close. The corrosive stuff you may be able to get on the cheap. Just make sure you clean everything, after using it. Barrel, gas cylinder, bolt, etc. Don't let your rifle set overnight without cleaning or you will have mild surface rust in the morning. That being said, it is probably the best bang for the buck you will get North of the border.

Winchester White box, Remington UMC, Federal AE.....all make 150g FMJ which is pretty much on spec with M2 ball.
