I had a hard time getting some powder, but the Superformance was in stock so I grabbed some. Seems to shoot well out of my Savage 30-06 and I was pretty surprised by the speed. 189 grain Nosler Accubond was averaging 2867 fps! Just wondering about anyone else use it and or general comments........

I loaded some up in my Lazerguard 30-06 with the 180 AB. Got similar velocities to you, and groups were sub-moa, so good stuff
I promptly bought an 8 pounder of the stuff. [works pretty good in my 7x57 as well]
Regards, D.

No pressure signs, it was the max suggested load according to the Hodgdon reloading centre. I was surprised to be able to get more than what they stated for velocity, usually it seems I am always under what the manufacturer publishes.

I tried it in the 30-06 with 180s, and ended up with decent accuracy and 2850 fps. Same speed as I get with H4350, so not breaking a lot of new ground there. Mostly because I has a case of it I've tried it in other calibers. Results haven't been great, nothing shot well enough to displace the current load, and pressure issues would pop up. Some of the published loads sounded appealing (300 Wsm with 150s for one) but I couldn't get near what they claimed.

Had a win model 70 in 30-06. Decided to shoot 165 sirocco 2 outta it. Superformaqnce gave me great velocity with about 1"groups. Tried IMR 4007 SSC... Wow excellent. Averaged 2990fps with sub MOA groups. Stuck with that. Superfomance became by back up powder for the 06.
