I’m not a fan of synthetic stock but I do have one on a cz550 9.3x62 in the same style as that one in the video and like it! I think that is a great built!

The real question is why WOULDN'T someone use a 30-06

Not going to lie, these days I prefer to use smaller/intermediate cartridges. And I'm going to keep pursuing this over the next few years. Didn't hunt much this year due to health reasons.

That being said, my main (big) rifle is a T3x Battue in 30-06. It's tricked out with a lot of aftermarket do-dads that make it more of an enjoyable rifle to shoot. But at it's core, it's a 20" barreled 30-06 shooting 180gr bonded bullets. That'll kill whatever it needs to on this continent.
