Yes of course! I have 4 of them love them 30-06 chambering, from 125gr all the way to 220gr, I use mostly 150 to 200 myself. You will be able to do everything in North America and more!! I think it is still the most versatile chambering out there! Easy to find ammo still some affordable ammo, not too bad on the recoil department, easy to shoot, lots and lots of options in rifles from single shot break action to bolt to pumps to straight pull to semiautomatic…. Can be light weight or heavy depending on the purposes, I like them around 7.5lbs all in ready to shoot I think it is the sweet spot.
