So those new Hornady lever-evelution bullets arn't available yet anyone know when they will be and how about load data? Why isn't companies like Barnes or sierra making something simmiler?
I ws told that they change a 30/30 from a 150y gun into a 300yard gun any truth in that?
Cheers

I emailed and asked. He said they would be available "never,... maybe".
In short, they have not decided to release them to handloaders yet, and current thinking is that they won't.
If they get enough demand however, who knows?

Id load the new Barnes 150 grain TSX flat point, Im sure that would impress deer

if you need more than 150 yards of each, trade your 30-30 in on a BLR 308

I want to hunt with it next year, I have a really sweet little 30/30 but here in Sk
you have to be very lucky to get a buck at 150 yards (unless you are my buddie Jan, had a buck walk out of the bush 90 yards away)
Why not reload any .30 cal bullet you want but limit yourself to 2
Not a bad Idea but i read somewhere that it's not only the bullet hornady uses with their ammo but some new powder/new load that makes it more zippy

I still have half a box of PMC ammo that use 150g star fire (look like Barnes X ?) bullets from years gone by (94-95 ish) . have no other companies offered an x type bullet loading or has Barnes not offered 30-30 componants before.?
