30-30

2008 Marlin 336C in 30-30 and yes I do hunt with it for deer in Ontario. I tried all the factory 30-30 ammo on the market both 150gr and 170gr and also the Leverevolutions.

I found my rifle shoots 170gr Remington Core-Lokt to around an inch at 50 yards using the factory open sights. Good enough for my needs!

When I get the urge to take a 30-30 it's a Glenfield 30a, shortened mag tube, and wears a M8 4x Leo, cheap and effective.

And despite what the internet has taught us all , It still Kills things just fine

I generally prefer 45 cal leverguns now but the 30-30's still manage to find thier way on hunting trips once in awhile

i got a marlin 336 in .30-30. lever guns are fun, i have 4 of them the marlin 336, and the marlin guide gun in .45-70, and a rossi lever action in .357 magnum, and a puma lever action in .454 cassul! i camp with either the rossi, or puma depending on if i feel like shooting .357/.38 specials, or if i want to shoot the .454 cassul! being kinda cowboy minded i have tauras revolvers in .357 magnum, and .454 cassul to match eith those lever guns lol!!!!

I don't own "a" 30-30, I own 2! Both are top eject 1894 Winchesters. I'm not really a lever guy, but no ones collection is complete without an old winchester 30-30. I just happened upon 2 at once

I have a Lever 94, its just a beefed up 30-30 but il tick yes an yes... i hunt wit hthe darn thing but im either not close enuff or i bloody miss!!! 2011 is the year for me an my lever haha

1980 Marlin 336 micro groove. I will have to get the barrel screwed on there properly. One of these days, she is going for a trip to the Gravel Agency to get that sorted out. Regardless, it's a very accurate and reliable rifle.
