Yes, I think you should be able to get $300 easy from the right buyer if it is in good shape. Yours is stainless so that will command a bit of a premium and of course they are no longer made so it is what it is. If your not in a rush to sell you could a bit of a premium on it and see if someone has interest. You can always drop the price later to close the deal.
I think you would have no issues getting $350-375 based on the fact it is stainless and assuming in excellent condition. People are asking $450-500 on the EE gfor blued handi's but they are nuttier than squirrel crap with those figures. In 20-12-2013 ,the blued models were selling as low as $259 and some even had a crappy scope.
The op posted the rifle. It's got a painted wood stock, and someone cut the hammer spur shorter. Also their actions aren't stainless, they are nickel plated. The barrel may be stainless, but even that I am unsure.
To be clear, I do believe H&R called them stainless. But the actions were plated not actual stainless - not a big deal. I believe anyone interested in this model would be aware of that anyways.
Just googled it, the actions were plated, the barrel was indeed stainless.
Based on the condition of the rifle after seeing it in the EE, I revise my estimate to below $200-225. Shaved hammer, removed pistol grip and painted stock means bubba has struck again. Sad.
I had the gun listed for 350, just to recoup what I had paid for it, but buying something on the spot and not researching it always bites ya in the butt doesnt it.Lesson Learned. I have now changed the price to 250 on the add. Maybe I'll get it and maybe I won't. Cheers
