Has anyone tried these combos ? I've had only decent results with IMR 3031 and that bullet so wanted to try something else.

I'll be shooting them out of my marlin 336 for deer.

I have a smoking load in my M94 with the 160 FTX, using W748.
I also tried H4895, but it was not nearly as accurate.
I was using 32 grains of 748 in my rifle.

win 748 would be my first choice. haven't seen a 30 30 that wouldn't shoot well with it. i would start at 30 grns and work up to 35.
 
Nice I have some that I use for my 300 wm Ill try it! Did you guys crimp to the canelure? Thanks!
 
All right, will keep that in mind, it will be whatever powder I can find first that wins lol!
