.30-30 LeverEvolution on moose? Range?

Anybody tried it?

I realize that plain Jane blue box Federal shells will drop a moose. I was just wondering if the LeverEvolution might possibly greatly extend a .30-30's range.

Probably be ok out 250-300 yards if you can place the shots properly.

I have shot the Leverevolution on deer and it seems to perform well and shoot pretty darn acurately out to 200 yards. Can't see why a well placed shot in the vitals of a moose wouldn't do the job either. I shoot Leverevolution in 200 gr .35 rem as well. Great stuff

with regilar ammo (fed 170's) I wouldn't hesitate at 200 yrds.

With the hornady's I was anticipating using them to 250...

I wouldn't go beyond that and would prefer closer..
