30-30 marlin

does any one know what a 1949 30-30 marlin may be worth,it has some signs of normal wear,and i will use it for my wife to hunt deer,not a collection

Long barrel? Short barrel? deluxe model with checkering or sling swivels or peep sight? Half or full length magazine? Marlins aren't as bewildering as Winchesters, but they did have quite a few variations. Assuming normal wear on a standard full-mag, non-checkered 20" carbine.....$350 or so?

I paid 200 $ for a 1955 marlin 336 30-30.

bluing is worn a bit... cold blue touch up did wonders to it though.

I think I got quite a deal though... thanks... you know who you are
