Seems like prices are in line with .308 and 30-06, nothing outrageous.

I can't wait until the new 336s come out.

All ammo prices are outrageous it would seem.

I have 5 years worth of hunting ammo on hand at all times. Never want to be without.

I suspect prices will remain high as long as there are shortages . I was in Maine two weeks ago at Walmart , and their ammo shelves were practically empty ; and they had signs up restricting the volume of ammo that people could buy . While I was there , a fellow bought the last box of 270 , and it was 47 bucks plus tax .

On line my Canadian Tire store showed out of stock on 30-30 and 30-06. But when I went there for something else I passed by the locked cabinet and there they were.

I have boxes and boxes of 30-30 piled up...oh crap...just remembered I cast and reload.

I can't recall seeing even the super-X 30-30 at 15$ per box for well over 10 years.

I have boxes of it I paid $13 for less then 10 years ago at Sail in southern Ontario. I cant give you an exact date, but the store only opened in 2011. It definitely was not at the store opening when I bought it.

Edit- Just went and looked at it, its in the latest box re-design Winchester did and priced at $13.27/box. So if you can figure out when Winchester last re-designed their boxes, that will narrow the date down.
