I'd suggest Barnes TSX or Nosler Partition. As far as I know Ballistic tips aren't made for the velocities the 30-378 can deliver, but I know for sure that the Barnes and Noslers will stay together.At least they have out of the three 30-378s in my family.
180 gr Tripple Shocks pushed by 111.0gr of H-1000 and Fed Mag Primers.
Very accurate load for me, and one heck of a punch. This bullet will hold together at these speeds and as mentioned above you need a bonded or solid to control the expansion. We are talking 3500 fps + with these.

You do not want to use Nosler Ballistic Tips. I have what is left of a 180Gr . All I could find was tiny shards that totaled less than 50grains !
If you want the "Ballistic Tip Style" the best choice is the Swift Scirrocos
I have used Barnes 180Gr XBT and XLC coated versions under 120Gr of Hodgdon 50BMG w/ Fed215M. Problem with 50BMG is you need to squeeze over 120Gr so its a pretty compressed load. Only reason I used 50BMG was Retumbo was not available back then. Retumbo is a better choice nowadays
I current use the 168GrXBT over 114gr Retumbo w/ a Fed215M . Assuming you haven't taken the freebore out ( set back barrel ) your COL will be the longest you can stick in your magazine box ( or a bit less in case bullets pull out a bit under recoil...don't want them to bind.
I went from the Barnes 180s to 168s because I find it hard to believe I'll miss the added penetration of the 180 and the 168s are more accurate in my gun. I have shot lots of elk / moose / deer with my 30-378 and I am yet to recover a Barnes
