I would like to know if anyone has or has used a 30-90x90 waterproof Barska Colorado Spotting Scope. Was it any good, any things that you did or didn't like about it. I am thinking about getting a new spotting scope for seeing targets at an outdoor 100 meter range that will allow me to see 22 size holes at that distance without too much trouble. I currently have a Bushnell Spacemaster 15-45,25 X 50 which works well at the 25 yard indoor range but isn't that great at the outdoor range, I even contacted Bushnell to see if I could get another eye piece but no such luck.

I'm not familiar with that particular product. However Barska doesn't have a good reputation for quality optics.

Check out http://www.cameralandny.com

They're a site sponsor. Check for their demo deals. There are lots of optics reviews on bird watching sites as well. I have the Pentax (non ED glass which was a lot cheaper) with an upgraded eyepiece. It works well. Honestly I'd pony up the money and get the best you can afford. The dollar is at par and there are deals on good stuff to be had. Don't buy garbage, it costs you more in the long run.

i dont know if the one i have is the same as a colorado but it was like 50$ on ebay and is pretty decent but a pain in the ass unless your sitting on the top of a mountain
