30 cal brake on a 6.5 CM. GTG?

Would there be any issues using a 30 cal brake on a 6.5 CM barrel?

Good to go. They become less effective as they get more oversized. How much, I couldn’t tell you. For sure not dangerous to go bigger.

No issues at all. A couple brakes I use are good for up to .338...........

Precision Rifle Blog did a comparison of a wide variety of brakes; using one slightly oversized resulted in single digit percentage reduction in effectiveness.

I’ve done a bit of research also,Via the internet.
Appears to be GTG, the differences are so small , that it’s a non issue for me.

Yup no issues, I run a 338 brake on my 6.5 Creedmoor and no issues at all....unless your off to the side of my brake
