.30 cal gauge ?

Hi there I dont know if this is the place for this post but, I am looking for A 30 cal bore gauge. Any idea's whare I can find one?

your nearest 00 buck. hammer thru with a rod then measure with calipers

Which guage? There are throat erosion guages and muzzle wear guages. Or are you looking for the ID of the barrel?

I am actually looking for all of them. For my 30-06 rifles I am planning to start a collection of rifles and would like to know about the wear on them

Brownell's sells the TE guage. $62.50US. They don't list a muzzle wear or a bore guage. You don't really need any guages for most rifles. Takes a great deal of shooting to wear a barrel. The only rifle you'd need to know the ID of the barrel on is a Lee-Enfield.

Okay then thanks I am starting a collection of M1-Garand's right now. I know thease rifles have been shot alot (or some of them). Right now I am starting with International Harvester built rifles.
