Good question. I would have thought the Russians would have stuck with one bullet diameter.
But the x25 cartridges I have all measure less than the x39.

I want to reload for my Tok but am looking for a less expensive bullet. Anything available in a plated round nose 70gr. to 85gr. ?
 
Henry has some Campro 32 APC bullets (.311) that are exactly what I want, except for being .311 rather than .308
I guess I could swage them down to the correct diameter?
 
tokarev is .308

you can buy loaded norinco non-corrosive steel-case, lead core 7.62x25 for cheaper than the cost of just the hornady projectile 80gr projectile

if you want a cheap option, buy 32 acp bullets and size them down to 308 using a bullet sizing die.

I have more arriving at the end of next week. (Feb 8) I'll list them on the website as soon as they arrive.
I have a customer that has also used Berry's M1 Carbine 110 gr .308 bullets in his & they work well he says.
