Personaly, I dont hear a lot about people hunting with M1 Carbines. Certainly if they want to, and its legal there is nothing stopping them. Most ppl I know that are looking for M1 carbine ammo want it for plinking.
I myself was considering getting some Russian Wolf .30 carbine in bulk, but you know, the State Dept. / DHS / US border etc... too much effort to get it out, not sure if you even can now.
