30 carbine reloading

Hi all,
I am looking to load 115gr FMJ bullets for my new M1 carbine. What sort of primers does one use for this? What is the best (or most obtainable) powder to use for these loads?

Use Win 296 or H110 same powder.................Harold

"...my new M1 carbine..." How long is the barrel? The norm is 18" and why the Carbine is restricted.
"...115gr FMJ..." Who makes a 115 grain? They'll be a bit long.
"...What sort of primers..." Regular small rifle.
"...powder..." Been using IMR4227 with 110 grain HP's for eons.
Think carbide sizer die only.

Small rifle. I use 4198 becasue I happen to have a lot of it. Makes a nice load.

before you make a whole bunch, test to see if the OAL you try feeds well.

I've had better luck with softer small rifle primers such as Federal.
