30 carbine with blue dot

rule of thumb with most any blue dot load is 60% of case capacity and lower from there. I have loaded 223 and 22-250 and 243 2
with data I got from the original blue dot guru from Accurate reloading.com. FS

I always liked H110 in the 30 Carbine, but I tried 10.0 -12.0 grs of Blue Dot with the 110 gr CMJ when I still had my M1 Carbine. I considered 12.0 grs the max for that bullet, and my notes indicate that it was a full case (Blue Dot is fairly bulky).

Alliant doesn't show any Carbine data with Blue Dot. Think IMR4227. Works like hot dam with a 110 grain bullet.

Alliant does show any data for rifle cartridges with Blue dot, it is was discovered by a loader in the USA and he has successfully loaded everything from 223 to 30-06. It is of course to load these cartridges down to minimal recoil but still plenty of velocity to harvest animals like deer with. one could go to accurate reloading and search bluedot, there should be a pile of threads.
