So I'm at the range, shooting my Norinco M305 at 300 and 500 m when my budy asked me :
"Why don't you try the targets at 1000 m ? "
Well, I took my calculator and put a 'don't disturb' expression on my face and end up with a 13 m drop

Not to sure of myself I "clicked" my scope but with only 30 MOA available I had to use the reticule for the 3 missing meters, thanks Mr Mildot, put a click or two for the wind and aimed for the blurry target.
5 rounds later we ran to the targets (ok we took the truck, but same idea) and one, two, three, four, five impacts !!!
I couldn't believe it ! And the group was amazing : a perfect vertical line 1.17 m long, 12 cm off center.
Back to the firing line I tried again and with the wind picking up the groups were not so good, but all the impacts were somewhere in the target. After that I went for the gong with no to bad result (8 of 10 in average)
Ok, the targets are big (2.25m x2.25), so is the gong (1.2x1.2) but still, I'm impressed and hooked for the long distance !!
The 305 is stock with a Rooster op-rod, Arms#18, Elite 3200, shooting American Eagle.
I'd love to see how it will be after a little work by a gunsmith and some decent ammo.
No pics this time from the shooting, but next time for sure
Picture of the rifle, it deserve it !!
