30 Nosler

I have a Hells Canyon carbon 308, 1 in 9.5, finish to 27” that would be put to good use as a 30 Nosler.

Looks like the Berger 215 can be seated to the right depth and be .020” from the lands with the SAAMI spec reamer.
N570 velocity of 3100fps is possible. All that and don’t even need a Wyatts mag box.

Cost of brass is the only negative initially. Should be able to get quite a few reloads out of ADG brass which in the long run bring the cost to shoot down reasonable level.

Just need to find a reamer.

The better choice would be 300 PRC....:)
 
I'm using hornady brass for now, I'm pretty sure we will see higher quality brass in the near future.
 
Mag length for 300 PRC is 3.7 and the X-bolt according to google is only 3.6 so thats probably not going to work....:(
 
CBTO on a SAMMI 300 PRC is 2.8" to the lands... Which is just over 3.6" OAL with a 215 Berger.

30 Nosler case only - 2.556"
300 PRC case only - 2.580"

Re ADG - what's the best way to get them across the border? Drop ship as a gift?
