What's everyone's thoughts on this new cartridge?

I would like to get my hands on some of that powder that Hornady is using for my own reloads.

This new catridge looks to me like a .300 savage but with quite a bit of snot!

Do you think it's the powder they are using or what?

I guess its T/C's idea of a 30-06 I know I'm not rushing out to go buy one.

Why does a long action bother so many people? What is wrong with the 30-06, I really think there are too many 30 cals that really have no purpose except for you to go out and buy a new gun, a good reason but maybe not a needed caliber.

Well said I'm a big fan of the 30-06

"...powder that Hornady is using..." You can't. Ammo manufacturers do not use powders that are available to reloaders. Nor do they advertise what powder they use or how much.
"...to go out and buy a new gun..." Exactly. If the manufacturers don't bring out new or repackage old stuff regularly they will lose their market share.
