300 Blackout - Brass Forming

762x39 requires a different bolt and mags and the larger bolt face makes the bolt more susceptable to cracking. There are many more 308" projectiles available and the 762x39 case is a wee bit big for the best subsonic operation.

As above post, why not 6.8? Although it would require barrel,bolt and mag change brass is readily available.

Will 6.8 push a 220 gr subsonic? Didn't think so.

What advantage does 220 bring over 180 at these speeds? Just trying to figure out the "obsession" with the blackout cartridge. Nothing against it but most people won't be using it with suppresors so trying to figure its advantage. Non-withstanding just another caliber for ####s-n-giggles.

redding does make some trim dies I found though.

The smallest toolholder for replacable screw on inserts I've been able to find is 0.3125...my tool post accepts max 0.250.

Go to KBC tools, page 290 of the catalogue, you need the M100Dex, smallest is .25 inch square
