Why would you not confirm with the retailer that the product they are selling works with the ammo type you would be using before purchase? If they say yes and it doesn't, you take it back, simple.

We are after all talking about a semi auto with sub sonic loads, Next you will be saying a rifle manufacturer would tell the military to suck eggs because the rifle they supplied will not cycle with the ammo the military uses and should switch types.

Lol, Ian guarantee's it will function with most commercially available ammunition, most. No manufacturer can guarantee any rifle will function on all ammunition available. There are too many variables on a semi auto rifle and all the types of ammo out there.

Why are you even here, do you own a 300BLK?

I returned it, lol

Probably going to get a CMMG MK47 Mutant instead, but not sold on it yet
 
I only shoot subs at moment cuz its cheaper and my A1680 lasts longer :)

I have found 11.5gn of imr 4198 also cycles and is more accurate than A1680

I cast that’s why subs are cheap before anyone gets their knickers in a twist.

What weight pills are you shooting with 4198? I have lots of that for my 223's

230gr lee cast powder coated, and are more accurate in my 9" than A1680. I have 3lb of 4198 :)

11.5gr imr 4198 was 1090fps

Both cycle 9" 300blk

7.5" Nea Upper and BCG. (although 2 other BCG's would not function in this upper....),...lower is NEA with DD innards,...buffer spring cut by 2 coils, and standard carbine buffer with only 1 weight in it (ie: 1/3 weight).
functions all sub sonic factory ammo. I load 220gr hornady RN over 10.5gr 4227,...1050 fps, functions great.

Were you having problems before you cut the spring and removed the weights?
Is it also an NEA barrel?
Is it a full auto carrier?
My 12 inch AR is a very similar build, NEA upper and lower, DD LPK, standard carbine spring and buffer, custom built stainless barrel, FailZero nickel boron FA BCG. So far I haven't had problems getting any of my loads to cycle.

I would have tried a semi auto carrier, opened up the gas port slightly or tried a different powder for subsonic loads instead of cutting the spring and removing the weights. I use A1680 for my 208gr subsonic loads and they cycle well.

Great, I have a 7.5" NEA 300BLK barrel to put on this week, that is helpful. Is that with an unmodified gas port?

AA 1680 is what I would prefer,..as I heard it helps with short AR and subs in 300blkout. FA BCG, ..NEA complete upper i bought from SFRC,...the lower was NEA as well I bought on sale. Yes,..it would short stroke with subs including factory ammo. After I cut the spring and removed the weights it worked 100%.

I got away with titanium coated drill bits and a cheap HSS 1/8" end mill for the final cut. I sprayed high temperature paint on the untreated hole with a foam earplug in the bore, in the hope rather than the belief that it would protect the steel.
That post was 3 weeks ago, ARs aren't built in a day apparently.
