300 BLK supers in shorter barrel lengths?

Ever use any other pistol powders like Unique, etc? What do you guys use your Sub loads for?


On the Super side, wouldn't mind a plinking load based on something like a 110gr RN or 85gr RN from CamPro (M1 Carbine and Tokarev bullet) and then just loading multi-used brass as hunting ammo and storing.

I use subsonic plinking loads on woodlots near subdivisions for their reduced noise.

I have tubs of Unique, I just haven't gotten there yet. I use Trailboss in a 1:9 .308.

Ah, I see! Kind of like a much heavier 22lr in sound?

Only ever shot one box of subs through the blackout, my first one came with a box of the Hornady heavies.

It's more like a big pop than a loud crack. I'd still recommend hearing protection but the sound doesn't carry for miles down the valley.
