.300 H&H Magnum?

Corlanes has a pile of brass, talk to Scott and he will set you up.

The 300H&H to me is the origonal 30 caliber magnum that all the other "Bands" have tried to do remakes of and they all sucked. :D
I hope it lives on for a long time and I will get one some day.

A 200gr Accubond at 2800 will put some serious hurt to a Bull Elk out to 350+!

Get, work up the loads to get used to it and just love it!:D

Can you give us details about the rifle?

Grand ol cartridge that it may be, i don't see the point..

Compared to a 300WM or a 300WSm, Brass and factory ammo isn't as easy to get, and it doesn't do anythign that the others do not.

The only reaosn to get one is if you think the cartidge is cool, and that is good enough, really.

300 H&h

I'm with Gatehouse on this one, The only H&H I would get would be a 375 the 300 doesn't make sense to me unless you are into nostalgia. I would sooner own a win or short mag or even a weatherby. Ammo and bullet selection is a lot more common.

Just my 2 cents

My point of interest exactly... I already have a Browning A-bolt in .300 Win Mag, so a "modern" efficient .30 cal magnum isn't the issue...

The rifle I'm looking at is a 1950's vintage pre-64 Winchester Model 70... hence the enquiry. It won't be "cheap" but I'm thinking in terms of the 'nostalgia' factor anway in my considerations of this one. ;)

Pre-64 Model 70 in 300 H&H......
That's a different story all together, don't waste your money. ;)

If you don't buy it please, please, please send me the seller's phone number. :D
