.300 h&h

I am watching the Winchester website with eager anticipation.

Forget Winchester mate...The crap coming out of the factories these days is unacceptable for something like a 300H&H build!

If you want something done right do it yourself.
Go build your own...You know you want to! ;) :D

LOL, you might be right. Or I could keep my eyes open for a nice old M721 to show up on the EE....

Any suggestions for a action and barrel to build it on just in case I can't wait ;)

Pre 64 or (even better) Dakota 76, Chromoly tube, rust blue, with some nice wood but not over the top.

Been thinking about it for years cause to be honest I am getting sick of synthetic stainless.

OK....I like my stainless too, but you know what I mean! :D

CZ does chamber 300 H&H in their Safari Classics line. It's a great cartridge but those Safari Classics rifles are a little pricey.

A Zastava / MarkX / Charles Daly / Rem 798 Mauser (FN Clone) meant for the .375 would a good option for a .300HH build, surely?

I think Midway is selling them for $279.
