I rechecked my manuals (again) and was satisfied that 63.5 grs would be a safe starting load; went to the range today.
FYI IMR-4350 sure is a good powder!
I fired 5 shots into an inch with avg MV of 2700 fps with the 200 gr Accubond. Wonderful load, right out of the box. I am not going to do anything 'cept load up enough for deer hunting!
As I said, I also mixed this same 63.5 grs with H-4350 and IMR-4831 and those were pretty decent accuracy wise, just progressively slower. The H-4350 avg'd 2650 fps and the IMR-4831 2600 fps. They were both good enough to go hunting with tomorrow... like 1.5" for 5 shots.
SuperCub thanks for that rifle and especially to all the dopes that passed up buying this wonderful rifle. What a shooter! Yes, if you passed on this gun you are a dope!!
Friggin' trigger is superb!!
Accuracy is superb!!
Rifle is superb-ness!!
