Anyone play with this round yet? Seems like an ar platform with 3030 performance. Or better yet a mini mauser bolt action. Could be a great first big game rifle for my daughter

Would be cool if we could hunt with a rifle on a AR platform. It's closer to a 7.62x39 then a 30-30 in performance .

I have a .300 AAC in a Remington 783 16.5" HB, while it's kinda chunky but it's an awful lot of fun to shoot.

Just starting to work up some cast bullet loads.

Brass is economical, so are dies. Takes little powder, cheap to shot.

If your going mini mauser and have some extra cash, build a 6x45 for your Daughter, 2850 fps with 80 gr winchester, next to no recoil, just neck up .223 brass to 6mm.

Well there are nr ar type platforms. My daughter is still way to young but i figure its never to early to start buying her things.

Seems like a cool round after reading about it. Quite a bit better then the 7.62x39.

A zavasta mini mauser would be cool chambered in that.
