300 lbs hogs succomb to a bb gun...

Napoleon's troops faced air rifles from the Austrian army/snipers that they threatened to shoot if captured with one.The airgun was feared. The reservoir was in the but stock and a soldier carried several to quickly recharge the weapon.A bicycle type pump was used for filling. No telltale shooter giveaway puff of BP to betray the shooter's position.Only the rich could afford them for sporting purposes ie Red Deer + wild Boar...Harold

I have a .22cal PCP rifle that will drive a pellet through a 2x4. I've shot gophers at about 75 yards no problem.

I have whole new respect for air rifles. I had no idea they could be this powerful. I wonder how much ammo is for a rifle like that?

EDIT: Nevermind, it just uses 45/70 bullets. Wasn't paying attention.
