300 PRC which action

I would say Defiance, it checks all the boxes for quality, spec's and features. Gary @ Bighorn has a "seat at the table" with Defiance so delivery times are months and not yrs. Good Luck.

Defiance definitely makes excellent actions.

A lot of companies do these days, its getting harder and harder to pick between them as the market is flooded with great actions.

If you want to customize your action with features, Defiance is a no brainer though.

If your going go sar with there barrel give them a call, they can sort you out. Excellent customer service. The defiance actions are nice but I do prefer my KS personally.

I would also recommend going with a larger thread pitch like 3/4. The contour is totally personally choice. The added weight and length will help with stability and in turn accuracy. If I was aiming for 16-18lbs I’d go 26”-28” and heavy varmint area or heavy palma

Yep and Gary has the best price as well from what I gather. My action is about 10 months out.

No Curtis action fans?
EM seems to build a ton of ELRs with them and Oversize KS barrels.

I've never owned one myself but on the wish list

I had a vector and the Zeus was nicer. You also don’t get better service then that offered from joel Russo the owner of terminus. The new Valor’s are suppose to be really nice but I’ll still take the Zeus every day of the week simply due to Joel’s way of handling business. Then on top of that, those threaded trigger pins are awesome!!

Em does nice work, just wish they’d work with terminus. I had them spun up a 25 creed barrel for me using a ks blank.

Too many issues in my circle of shooting friends, and the CS is sub par. And these aren't isolated incidents, from other reports I've heard across the web.

Personally I wouldn't recommend them, not with the plethora of great actions out there. YMMV.

Awesome!! Let us know what you think! Love my SAR! Should be back end of this week from the smith

Will do, looking forward to some trigger time this summer.

Next decision is which stock. Not sure I want to go full chassis, but for sure want vertical grip. Thinking Mcmillan A-5 or similar with Hawkins cip length bottom metal. I have an accurate mag 300 win cip length magazine already.

Bbbbaaahahaha..... this is rich.
I actually have a Curtis, zero issues.

Glad you enjoy yours.

By no means should the experience in my circle invalidate yours. But just because yours works fine for you, doesn't mean Curtis hasn't had issues. And besides my shooting circle, there's lots of reports online of bad quality and service from that company.

Anyways, not something I care to fight over. Certainly not my recommendation, but if people want to buy those actions then have at it. No skin off my back.

Ordered up a KRG Bravo for my build, had one before and really liked it. It accepts the cip length mag that I have. Will be using the Zeiss conquest V4 6-24 that I also have. Just need to choose rings for the rail, and height.
