I just purchased a 300rum, the goal is to shoot the mile. When I bought the rifle I also purchased 2 boxes of Remington managed recoil ammo thinking that since the bullets have less powder, there will be less chamber wear and I will have fire formed brass. I have been recently told that I should forgo that idea and just get some high quality brass like Norma or lapua. I guess my question is what is the best way to go about this? Just keep the Remington ammo and fire form it, or just find some Norma or nosler brass and work up a load?
