300 Rum or 300 Wby

The 30-378 does produce more velocity than the 300RUM with equal bullet weights,but is has an even shorter barrel life,more recoil,and brass is ridiculously expensive.300RUM brass costs no more than 300WBY brass,less if you use Weatherby brand 300WBY brass.

I swore I would never use a .30 cal magnum either and now my go to hunting rifle is a 300 Weatherby go figure...
