300 RUM, Retumbo, 200gr TSX data ?

Looked at the sticky up here and I am not sure of the data.
It is listed that the load should be 78-86 gr of Retumbo.

Seems low.

Nosler list 87.5-91.5 for a 200gr Accubond.

What load do you use for your 300 RUM ?

With 200gr bullets ?

Keep in mind that the monolithics are significantly longer and will take up more case capacity. 1.620" for the Branes vs 1.490" for the Nosler.

I'm using 95 gr with a 200 accubond. Not the same as a tsx I know but I have no signs of pressure and there were no signs of pressure in the heat of Namibia.

Makes sense. Makes a tighter confine space thus increase pressure.

Mine are just shy of 3100. I think it was 3096 average or thereabouts.

Not the same bullets, but with the 208 gr Hornady AMAX at 3.650" (26" barrel):

- 95.0 grs Retumbo - 3050 fps; and
- 105.0 grs US869 - 3150 fps.

Nosler brass is much thicker than Remington Peters.
To give you an example the Nosler max load of 91.5gr is pretty much dead on using their brass.
To get the same velocity using R-P brass I was loading 95.5gr.
